[PREMIERE] Calvin Harris’s “Slide” Receives Vibrant Remix From Wildfire

Wildfire Slide Remix Artwork

It’s safe to say that Calvin Harris’s “Slide” is already one of the biggest collaborations of the year. Released in February, the track combines Harris’s clean production with Frank Ocean and Migos’s vocals. The powerhouse trio created one of the most popular songs of 2017 so far, achieving millions upon millions of streams in just a few months’ time.

Today we’re happy to be premiering Wildfire’s take on the massive track. The Canadian producer has been on the come up for a couple of years now, making his TSIS debut back in 2015 with his remix of Alison Wonderland’s “Run” and releasing a single on Dim Mak Records earlier this year.

Taking on such a popular collaboration was no small task, and Wildfire certainly impressed. The future bass-influenced remix incorporates a brisk beat and added percussion over the recognizable vocals and adds a dreamy, faraway effect to Frank Ocean’s already unhurried tone. A refreshingly funky, synth-driven drop mixes impeccably with the already vibrant production. The real treat, however, is the synth breakdown towards the end of the song that adds an interesting new dimension to the track.

Overall, Wildfire’s take on “Slide” adds much-appreciated depth to an already well-crafted song, giving it that perfect summertime vibe. Plus, the remix is available for a free download. Stream and download the track below, and enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Lido's Single "Murder” Gets Refreshing Future Bass Remix From Wildfire & Loki

Lido - Murder (Wildfire x Loki Remix) [Cover Art]

Later this week, Lido will be dropping his debut album called Everything. To hold fans over until then, Wildfire and Loki have teamed up on a remix of the Norwegian producer's latest release, "Murder". Their future bass spin retains the airy percussion and vocal chops of the original but reworks the melody while incorporating super lush synths into the mix.

"Lido is one of our biggest inspirations," says Wildfire. The up-and-coming producer made his TSIS debut in Dec. 2015 with his trap-fueled future bass remix of Alison Wonderland's single "Run". Both producers have been steadily gaining support from acts including The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE. You can stream the premiere of Wildfire and Loki's remix below. Enjoy!
