PREMIERE | Sikdope Shares Heavy Bass House Remix of Jauz & Zeds Dead’s “Lights Go Down”

Jauz - Sikdope - Zeds Dead

Towards the end of last year, we we’re all blown away by the release of Jauz & Zeds Dead’s collab “Lights Go Down”. The hard hitting DnB track undoubtedly set the tone for trio’s B2B tour - but today it’s taken on a new life. Coming off his recent collab with ATRIP & Virus Syndicate, we’re excited to bring you a premiere of heavyweight Polish producer Sikdope’s remix of “Lights Go Down”.

We’ve been waiting for this one to see the light of day for quite some time now. Characterized by shrill, screeching synths, deep, abrasive wobbles and heavy pulsing bass, this latest offering perfectly exemplifies the fast paced, heavy-bass production we’ve come to love from the Poland-born producer. Check out Sikdope’s remix of “Lights Go Down”, (out now on Deadbeats & Bite This Records) below and enjoy!

Zeds Dead Flip Gorgon City’s “Go Deep” From Deep House Into Deep Dubstep On New Remix

zeds dead

Last month, Gorgon City dropped off one of our favorite deep house tunes of the year so far, “Go Deep”. Over the weekend the English duo released a four-track remix EP for the tune, and among those remixes was a rendition by none other than Zeds Dead.

Zeds Dead wouldn’t be the first artists that we’d expect to remix a deep house song, but their execution was on point. They successfully managed to flip “Go Deep” into more of a deep dubstep track with a surprise, gritty drop near the end. The way they crafted it feels like they wrote an original Zeds Dead song. The vocals by Kamille work in just the right way with their production. Gorgon City should be proud.

Zeds Deads has just dropped a collaborative single with a rare appearance by 1000Volts. 1000Volts is a collab duo comprised of producer Jayceeoh and rapper Redman. Zeds Dead are gearing up for their fifth annual run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, aptly titled Deadrocks V, and we couldn’t be more hyped to be on board with them.
