Zeds Dead dubstep throwback

Zeds Dead is back with their latest installment of their label mix series, DEADBEATS RADIO, which takes listeners on a journey back to Dubstep roots. DEADBEATS RADIO #017 is deemed the ‘Dubstep Throwback’ episode and is full of tracks from Rusko, Skream, Chase & Status, Caspa, Nero and many more legendary producers.

Deadbeats has been churning out impressive content recently with Kid Froopy’s Debut EP and Devault’s latest single “Don’t Want You To”. But today, the talented duo pay tribute to the pioneers of dubstep, a genre that Zeds Dead themselves have helped progress into the sounds we hear today. With monumental tracks such as Rusko’s “Cockney Thug” or Excision and Datsik’s “Boom”, this mix is any 2000’s OG dubstep fans dream… Enjoy!

Zeds Dead Teams Up With Diskord And Reija Lee On New Single “Blood Brother”

Zeds Dead Blood Brother

It’s always a good day when Zeds Dead drops something new. As the festival season is winding down and the Canadian duo is preparing for a barrage of shows on their Deadbeats tour, it seems they’ve found some time to team up with Diskord and Reija Lee on a new track titled “Blood Brother”.

"This song was in the works for a couple years now. We always thought it was dope, but it took a while to get right. We've been fans of Reija Lee for quite a while now so it was great to finally put this out." -Zeds Dead

This latest offering from Zeds Dead comes as a followup to their recently released collaboration with Illenium. Filled with energetic percussion, vibrant synths, powerful bass and Reija Lee’s alluring vocals, “Blood Brother” is a perfect blend of styles from all three artists. While this is only the second single the duo have released since dropping their debut album, we’re hoping to hear more new Zeds Dead in the near future. Check out “Blood Brother” below and enjoy!

Zeds Dead Drop Lollapalooza 2017 Live Set For Deadbeats Radio Episode 8

Zeds Dead Lolla

Zeds Dead absolutely destroyed with their set at Lollapalooza and for those who couldn’t be there to witness it, they’ve released the last hour of their set as a special edition of Deadbeats Radio for Episode 8. Spanning dubstep, drum and bass, trap, house, and more this mix covers pretty much everything and includes a ton of music from Zeds Dead.

Zeds Dead start the mix off with their future house collaboration with Oliver Heldens, “You Know,” and mix it into Skrillex and Habstrakt’s recent track “Chicken Soup.” Things pick up as they drop crowd favorite “Collapse” and mix in a series of dubstep bangers from artists such as Borgore and Trampa. Zeds Dead raise the tempo for a drum and bass section, which includes their tune “Me No Care.” They bring Lollapalooza founder and Jane’s Addiction lead singer Perry Farrell on stage to sing live on their track “Blink” and end with their recent collaboration with Illenium “Where The Wild Things Are.”

In true Zeds Dead fashion, they also make sure to throw in some classic dance and hip-hop tracks on the way. There are too many good tunes to name here, so these are just some that stood out to us. Check out Deadbeats Radio Episode 8 below, and hear for yourself. Enjoy!
