Zeds Dead Deadrocks 2017

It’s been an explosive year so far for Zeds Dead. Following their well-deserved spot on our list of Top 20 Electronic Albums of 2016, the duo released their first ever Deadbeats Compilation and have shared a handful of tracks by various talented artists on their Deadbeats label.

Perhaps most exciting was their announcement of the 4th annual Red Rocks event Dead Rocks. This year’s edition of the massive event will take place on July 3 and will feature guest artists Ghastly, REZZ, Camo & Krooked and many more. If that isn’t exciting enough, we’re offering you the opportunity to meet the headliners and attend their show for free.

TSIS and the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater are teaming up to give one lucky pair of Zeds Dead fans the chance to meet the duo at an eat & greet BBQ. Beyond that, the winners will receive VIP tickets to Zeds Dead’s show at the Ogden Theatre on July 2, VIP tickets to Dead Rocks and a signed Deadbeats merch package.

This is set to be the biggest and most exciting Dead Rocks yet, so don’t miss out on your chance to go! Tickets are still up for grabs here. Enter the contest via the widget below, and we’ll see you at Dead Rocks 2017!

Zeds Dead Remix Themselves For Incredible New Future House Version Of "Slow Down"

Zeds Dead Slow Down

In October of 2016 Zeds Dead dropped their full length album Northern Lights which earned a spot on our list of Top 20 Electronic Albums Of 2016. Today the Toronto duo released an 8-track remix package of Northern Lights featuring artists such as DNMOGanja White Night and many more. However, one of the standout remixes on the package comes from Zeds Dead themselves reworking their laid back concluding track of the album “Slow Down” into a dancefloor heater. Zeds Dead has been very busy lately with the launch of their new record label Deadbeats, but, they somehow still manage to find time to create incredible music like this remix of “Slow Down”.

The remix exhibits Zeds Dead versatility with its deep house influence. They manage to maintain the gentle vocals from Jenna Pemkowski and build an energetic track around them that sounds entirely different from the original. We can't wait to hear this at their Deadrocks Redrocks event this summer! Zeds Dead continues to be a powerhouse of electronic music and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon… Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Ganja White Night Delivers Incredible Remix Of Zeds Dead’s “This Is Me” (ft. Lips)

Zeds Dead Ganja White Night Remix Artwork

Last October, Zeds Dead thoroughly impressed us all with their long-awaited debut album, Northern Lights. Now, eight months later, they’re gearing up to drop a Northern Lights Remix EP complete with fresh takes on some of the album's biggest tracks and today we have the pleasure of premiering Ganja White Night’s incredible remix of “This Is Me” (ft. Lips).

For their latest offering, Belgium-rooted electronic duo Ganja White Night has taken Zeds Dead’s “This Is Me”, stripped it down and added in their own distinctive style. Starting off with a misleadingly soft piano melody, Ganja White Night slowly blends eerie atmospheric and percussive elements in with Lips’ soft vocals, creating an almost haunting atmosphere. The track quickly builds and progresses into a powerful bass heavy drop filled with abrasive synths, dark wobbles and punchy drums.

Check out Ganja White Night’s remix of Zeds Dead’s “This Is Me” (ft. Lips) below and keep an eye out for Zeds Dead’s Northern Lights Remix EP, dropping tomorrow (June 9). Enjoy!
