Sometimes it's good to hear a fresh sound in the rap scene, and that's what Grieves has done for me. This 19 year old surprisingly came out of Ft. Collins, CO at one point but didn't start making a name as a rapper until he lived in Chicago, IL where he currently resides. Recently being added to the Rhymesayers Label ,who Atmosphere has and others have made popular, will only lead to big things for this young rapper. These tracks are taken from his latest "The Confessions of Mr. Modest EP" The first song is one of my favorites by him called Smile for the Blade with a little bit of a dark tone, but such a sick beat.
