House music heavyweight AC Slater always seems to be up to something. If he isn’t packing out festival stages, chances are he’s hard at work on a new banger. Or…make that three bangers – as today, only six months after AC dropped his impressive debut album, we’re excited to have the pleasure of premiering his brand new I Wanna Show You EP.
This latest offering from the bass-house OG is sounding extra crisp. As a whole, the EP perfectly exemplifies the deep, unique sound we’ve come to love from AC Slater, while also acting as a perfect supplement to the numerous relentless releases constantly dropping on Night Bass. From eerie, distant piano and deep, distorted bass to skittering percussion, a feature from San Diego-based rapper Young Lyxx and even a masterfully implemented Tyler, The Creator sample, AC paints an incredibly interesting sound gradient throughout the entirety of this new three-track project.
