After establishing himself in the bass music scene, London-based producer, Aibel, decided to take some time off from creating to find a sound that felt true to him. He comes out on the other side with a melodic, electronica fusion, beginning a new era of music with his single, “Heat.”
Departing from what he describes as “heavy” bass influence, it is immediately evident that “Heat” embodies a more vibrant air than the rest of Aibel’s discography. Fluttering arpeggios cascade over a latin-inspired beat, balanced out and anchored by a lively bass line, which provides melodic interest within itself.
Aibel commented on the creation of “Heat,” sharing:
Had loads of fun with this track, first thing I’ve put out since going analogue and trading the heavy bass style for more electronica, garage, breakbeat etc influences.
