Techno heavyweight Alan Fitzpatrick released his sixth studio album, Machine Therapy, last year. Over the past weekend, he unveiled a six-track remix LP to go with it, featuring eclectic reimaginations of his music from artists like CamelPhat, melodic techno duo Mind Against, and Anjunadeep head Jody Wisternoff.
While each one of these six new remixes features an artist (or artists) with a unique style, they all have one thing in common: energy. These tracks are designed for club play. Fitzpatrick can call upon the psychedelic breaks of Mathew Jonson’s version of “Something Wonderful” or the strict, techno groove of Steffi’s interpretation of the track no matter what state the room is in.
DJs—if you’re looking for some new weapons for your library, look no further.
