Toronto’s ATTLAS has proven to be one of mau5trap’s most celebrated artists on an impressive roster. He’s managed to stand out among the pack with his unique, thought-provoking electronic productions and has since released two studio albums. Primed and ready to push the boundaries of his own sound, ATTLAS has announced that he’s working on his third studio album, Carry It With You, with the release of its lead single, “Waterbug.”
The track opens up with the most beautiful piano intro that sets the tone for an introspective liquid-electronic song. Some gentle drums create a backbone while some airy, almost tribal choir vocals chime along. Masterfully crafting robust ambient soundscapes with progressive melodic notes, “Waterbug” is deeply emotive and provides the perfect glimpse into the forthcoming project.
