Rising artist Autumn In June has become a favorite of ours lately with his incredible string of singles leading up his debut album. We’ve been looking forward to his 12-track album Magenta which is now here! Autumn has been releasing tracks off this project for the past year and half so we're really stoked the full release is here.
Autumn has been making waves with his bright indie electronic sound combining the hip-hop roots of his South Central upbringing with uplifting synth pop and R&B making for a unique genre-blending sound that’s immediately recognizable. We couldn’t be more excited for this release following his incredible singles “I Guess It’s Cool To Be Lonely”, “Jupiter Six”, “Cocaine Eighties”, and “Take Flight”.
Autumn In June’s unique voice brings a dreamy quality to his infectious songs that will surely be stuck in your head for hours. He pairs the vocals with radiant, shimmering production that carries a strong 80s vibe throughout the project as he combines his instrumentation with fluorescent electronic production and a touch of funky synthesizers. His DIY approach to music is heard in the album and is showcased even further by the fact he recorded the project in his self-built studio in the backyard of his South Central LA home. His 12-track album is a incredible introduction to the talented singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer for those of you who aren’t familiar. We’ll certainly have this on repeat, so kick back and enjoy!
