Barclay Crenshaw Drops Fiery New Hip-Hop Single With Twin Rappers Cam & China

If you’re looking for your daily dose of thick 808s, look no further. Claude VonStroke’s bassy, trip-hop alter ego, Barclay Crenshaw, is here to deliver with another fire collaboration titled "The Baddest". This time Barclay has joined forces with Cam & China, a pair of twins representing some of the most fearsome and visceral rap coming out of Inglewood, California. The twins flow relentlessly over Barclay’s fat, tribal beat. Cam & China’s synergy is so in tune that you can hardly tell when one passes it on to the other, all you hear are bars rapid firing into your eardrums.

After working with hip-hop artists like Cam & China, The Underachievers, and of course The Cool Kids, it’s clear Barclay knows what’s good in the rap game. If you were a fan of tracks like “U Are In My System”, then this new banger will rope you in immediately.

Also, as a side note, did Barclay just get his kid to introduce a new beat tag? Right before the 808s come in, you can clearly hear a high voice saying: “This beat is by my dad”. It wouldn’t be the first time he’s involved his kids with his work. Last year at Electric Forest he brought out his oldest to groove on stage with him during one of his sets as Claude VonStroke. It was adorable.

Anyway, do yourself a favor and check out Barclay and Cam & China’s newest track, “The Baddest”, below. Enjoy!
