Today we’re eager to debut a collaboration of two very dope Denver-based artists that we’ve had the pleasure of premiering music with in the past. Bass Physics & Covex have come together on a fresh-sounding melodic bass track, “Keep Me Up” with brilliantly cast vocalist, Luma.
With both Bass Physics & Covex being friends outside of music, the sonic chemistry on the track seems effortless. “Keep Me Up” is an artistic statement from both artists, and Luma’s addition to the production bring everything together neatly.
“I had so much fun making this with my good friend Brendan [Covex], as we both put our different styles together and created something fresh. Luma’s incredible vocals really tied the song together & gave it life, helping to realize the emotions that Covex and I wanted to feel while listening.”
Bass Physics has been crushing the Colorado scene and beyond for a minute, so it’s dope to see him linking up with Covex, a rising producer who’s recent work has earned him the fandom and respect of the same scene Bass Physics has thrived in.
This single hints at a bigger project Bass Physics has been working on over the last year. Keep your eyes and ears out for that project early next year.
