Bassnectar Announces Massive New Years Eve 2017 Show In Atlanta

||

When it comes to hosting forward-thinking, large-scale events, Bassnectar is always one of the first artists that comes to mind. This year has been no different, with the experimental producer already hosting the two-day, ‘90s style Basslantic City festival in Atlanic City, the three-night “Freestyle Sessions” event in Colorado and the massive Bass Center X Festival in Virginia.

These gatherings coupled with a steady stream of new music has had the Basshead community buzzing with anticipation of where his New Years Eve show would be held. For the past two years Bassnectar has hosted his 360-degree event in Birmingham, Alabama, but has hinted throughout 2017 that the event would find a new landing pad this year.

Today he finally revealed the answer: This year’s NYE will go further south to Atlanta, Georgia. Although it will not be a 360-degree show, it’s sure to be just as unique.

“Our intention is to design a magical portal into an Alternate Universe… when you cross the Threshold we intend to explore new undiscovered dimensions using a time machine built out of human energy… sound unrealistic? We don’t think it’s unrealistic – we think it is inevitable (: “ – Bassnectar

In addition to Lorin himself, producers What So Not, Ott, and Phutureprimitive will be joining as supporting talent. The show will take place on December 31 at the GWCC (the same place Bassnectar hosted his two-day Basslanta event back in 2016). Presale tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon ET, with general on sale this Friday also at noon. Find those here. In the meantime, check out the intricate lineup art below – enjoy!
