Pittsburgh native and R&B veteran, Benji., saw great success with the release of his EP, Love Gun, last year. So, it only made sense for the Spillage Village member to release a part two. Just eight months later, Benji. proudly presents Love Gun 2.
Love Gun 2 is a soulful, bare-bones EP for lovers of hip hop, blues, pop, and even rock. Benji. lets whatever inspiration he’s feeling guide each song’s arrangement, whether that mean an angsty power chord section like in “Keep Coming Back,” or a choir of harmonies as featured in “Beautiful Song.” No matter what choice he makes, it’s the right one. The EP (which is more like an album) sounds like the seasoned veteran in his prime.
