As the rise of drum n bass becomes more and more apparent in the North American dance music circuit, so too does our affinity for the genre. Today, we have an extra tasty collaboration that sees Canadian producer, Bensley, teaming up with Austin-based, Justin Hawkes, on “Don’t Be Scared.”
Both Bensley and Justin Hawkes are at the very front of the North American drum n bass wave and have recently begun perfoming b2b sets with performances at EDC and Forbidden Kingdom. “Don’t Be Scared” combines each producer’s unique sounds for a gritty and melodic offering. Perfectly chopped vocals are paired with powerful synths and driving drums for a perfect balance between melodic and heavy bass.
