If there’s one thing we can say with certainty about Big Wild, it’s that we never know what direction his sound will go next. We’ve journeyed with him through his experimentation with twangy, instrumental tracks like “Venice Venture,” darker, drum-ridden beats like “Ascension,” and the funky retro-pop vibes on his debut album Superdream.
With each project, Big Wild exudes an electric energy and a one-of-a-kind sound. The release of his latest EP Superdream: Analog Sessions proves yet again that his talent knows no limits and his music knows no single genre. The EP takes a softer turn, re-imagining five favorites off of Superdream, slowing down the tempo and enhancing the vocals for a more raw listening experience. In his own words, “It was a really fun challenge to distill the original songs down to the essentials.”
We are loving this stripped down version of the tracks and a tamer side of Big Wild. Check out the EP below. Enjoy!
