We’ve recently joined the Billy Hammer fan train after introducing his track, “Palm Of Your Hand,” to our site. After hearing that effortlessly charming groove, we knew we’d be hearing more from the newcomer soon. Looks like we were right, because Billy is back on site with a pleasantly sedated new bop titled, “Planet (In Your Eye).”
Hammer taps into a more organic theme for this latest offering, utilizing hand pans and orchestral strings upon which to build his ensemble. As these pieces harmoniously blend with swelling synths and tastefully light drum kit, the ascent to momentary bliss feels all too natural.
