Portland’s Blue Canopy is back with some lovely indie gold. We were first introduced to the talented multi-instrumentalist with his release of Banji, which we featured on the site a few weeks ago. His latest track “Little Tourist” is part of his Sleep While You Can EP and has us feeling all warm and fuzzy.
The tune is a swirling instrumental piece with warm tones from start to finish. A gentle piano pattern eases listeners in and is then followed by a thumping bass groove that underscores airy vocals and majestic saxophone riffs. The entire EP is a beautifully introspective work of art at a time where self-reflection is incredibly crucial.
Stream Blue Canopy’s “Little Tourist” below and be sure to check out the rest of the Sleep While You Can EP on his Bandcamp page. Enjoy!
