Boys Noize Drops 2 New Singles, Sells Music Video NFT for $24,000

||, |,

One thing about Boys Noize is that you can always expect him to push the electronic envelope. The Grammy-nominated producer is back to prove that yet again by releasing two uniquely stimulating songs today on his label Boysnoize Records. He recruited Kelsey Lu’s shimmering voice and Chilly Gonzales’ sharp piano skills for the stunning “Ride or Die,” and enlisted the aid of R&B singer Corbin for the emphatic and exciting track “IU.”

These singles are exceptionally different in sound, with “Ride or Die” having a lighter feeling, while “IU” is a moody and punchy track. The first song lets Kelsey Lu’s lead, as their soaring vocals cascade over the slow-winding, twanging tempo before it dips into an unpredictably animated drop. “IU” feels deep and dangerous from the get-go. Corbin drones and hums over the murky melody and the percussion in the breakdown produces a seriously powerful punch.

You can listen to both of the singles below. Also, make sure to check out the epic music video for “Ride or Die,” which just sold as an audio/visual artwork in an NFT auction for over $24,000. It took a year to make and was modeled and animated in 3D, and then each of the 4,000 frames was hand-painted. Enjoy!
