Caribou Drops Invigorating Sixth Studio Album ‘Honey’

||, |,

Canada’s own Caribou has a vast and strong catalog, and he only strengthened that with his new addition to his discography in the form of his latest album Honey. Also known for his Daphni alias, Dan Snaith, the man behind the artistry is bringing Caribou and Daphni ever so close to one another on this one.

The album’s lead track “Broke My Heart” might have a downtrodden title, but the song’s production is far from it as it is a high-energy dance tune. “Come Find Me” is groovy and silky, while “Campfire” is a real curveball for the album, dominated by a slow and melodic guitar with whimsical vocals before a sudden switch to hip hop before a switch back.

Caribou also used a new tool to help with the album. He says,

“Obviously, one of the big things that changed while making this album was the ability to manipulate my voice using AI. I found it impossible to resist trying it, and once I’d tried it, it was impossible to look away.”

The product is a stellar album that pushes his sound to new heights. Stream the album below and enjoy!
