My jaw simply dropped when I saw this announcement. The acclaimed music channel, Cercle, continues to raise the bar when it comes to their live stream videos. Today it has been confirmed that Cercle will be hosting melodic house and techno artist Eelke Kleijn at one of France’s most amazing landmarks, Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, in Lower Normandy.
Never mind that Cercle was just producing live stream sets at the Great Pyramids of Giza not too long ago, or sending Ben Bohmer up into a hot air balloon in Turkey—they’ve now managed, in partnership with local tourism organizations, to secure a show at a location that one of the most cherished locations in their own country.
Here’s the announcement in their own words:
It is with great emotion that we are coming back to France for an outstanding performance this Monday 29th of March, starring @eelkekleijn at the top of one of the firsts cultural sites listed by UNESCO: the Mont Saint-Michel. Perched at 80 meters above sea level, this architectural wonder testifies the unique expertise of many generations and has been the pride of the french heritage for 1300 years.
Here’s a few more images of the abbey that will blow your mind:
The set will be streamed live on Cercle’s Facebook, Twitch and Oculus channels next week, March 29.
