Today we have the pleasure of introducing Clement Bazin as a new face to TSIS. He’s making his first appearance on the site for the premiere of "Distant" featuring Lia as the first single off his forthcoming Us EP due March 10.
Bazin was actually a steel pan professor and brings these musical sensibilities to his production. "Distant" is a song that instantly clicked with us. The infectious single shows expert use of vocal chops paired with punching drums, swirling background textures that lead up to an incredibly catchy drop we had to replay a few times. The bright production is paired effortlessly with Lia’s airy vocals that tie everything together. Enjoy!
