Daft Punk Are Releasing ‘Alive 2007’ On Vinyl For The First Time

||, |,

The French production artists Daft Punk have announced a very special release just in time for the holiday season.  The godfathers of electronic music are giving us their hyped 'Alive 2007' album as a much needed double-vinyl package with a 52-page book.  Dropping on December 22nd, the album was recorded in Paris as part of the duo's 2006/2007 tour – Alive - their return to the stage after a 10 year live hiatus, which also debuted their game changing pyramid stage set up.  It is a pivotal live mix, whether you were at the shows or hearing of this for the very first time, and experiencing this two hour musical journey via the full and warm sounds of vinyl is a must.

Let it be known that the album has won two grammys including 'Best Electronic Album' and 'Best Electronic Single'. Also coinciding with Alive 2007, the group will simultaneously re-release 'Live 1997' also on wax.  We can't wait to hear the album and check out what's inside the 52-page 'Alive 2007' book.
