Daft Punk have delivered a new song titled “The Writing of Fragments of Time.” It’s the first piece of their 10th-anniversary release of Random Access Memories, which is due out in its entirety on May 12.
“The Writing of Fragments of Time” is a super unique recording. It shows the studio session between the duo and Todd Edwards as they’re creating the track, with the instrumental playing in the background. The track gives us a rare glimpse into the intimate creative process of the legendary duo and one of their longtime collaborators. If you’ve ever wanted to be a “fly on the wall” during a Daft Punk session, that’s now possible.
