In the midst of anticipation for their next studio album, DRAMA joins forces with a very special collaborator on their last single before the LP’s arrival. Not only is their new song, “Dollar $hort,” quite possibly our favorite DRAMA track thus far, but it also features one of the most-covered artists in our site’s history, Flight Facilities.
Chorused-out guitar chords and falsetto vocals create a magical base for this sweet collaboration. The production feels nostalgic and funky, yet modern and radio-friendly at the same time. Plucky guitar riffs and vocal chops in the post chorus bring the track into new territory, entering the electronic realm in addition to evident pop and funk influence.
