Rising duo DROELOE first popped up on our radar roughly six months ago with their single “Bon Voyage,” a dreamy tune that incorporated glitchy synth patterns, airy vocals and steady percussion to create a unique future bass sound. The Netherlands-based artists have impressed ever since, sharing chill tracks like “See Through Me” and teaming up with San Holo to drop “Lines of the Broken,” one of the year’s most stunning tracks, via bitbird. Today we’re happy to be premiering yet another impressive track from DROELOE, “Jump” feat. Nevve, out now on Monstercat.
Most compelling about “Jump” is the extensive amount of elements seamlessly incorporated into one track. DROELOE tie together synth patterns all across the board, airy vocals and distorted vocal samples, varying percussion styles and more in a clean, masterful way, resulting in a light-hearted future bass track that’s truly innovative. “Jump” is captivating and intricate, especially for a duo that has only been in the music game for a little over a year.
It seems like DROELOE is coming into their own with each and every track they put out, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for the future. Check out “Jump” below and enjoy!
