Today we’re stoked to debut a very sharply rising, versatile electronic artist on the site. DVRKO has been making some serious noise over the past couple years, and he’s officially caught our ear with his latest, a brand new single titled “Deeper.”
The enigmatic producer, who dons a futuristic light up helm, illustrates a vivid tale of modern love on this tune. The storytelling comes through the captivating vocals of MVXMILLI (who also happens to be the son of Prince and The Revolution’s keyboardist Dr. Fink). Together, these two concoct a potion of rich melodies, strict grooves, enveloping bass—and it all comes together with a spirited performance.
Considering how well this one came out, we hope that this isn’t the last time DVRKO and MVXMILLI pair up. Here’s what MVXMILLI had to say about the collab:
We started ‘Deeper’ when we got into the studio for the first time, DVRKO played a track and I immediately knew what would fit on it. I had some lyrics I was sitting on for a little while and finally found a perfect fit for them. The song means a lot to me because it really speaks about the trials and tribulations of dating and finding love in a city like LA, and all the personal moments I’ve went through while doing that.
