Flume Found His Old Laptop from 2012, Announces Plans to Share Unreleased Music

|||, ,

Flume previously thought he had lost the old laptop that he used to make his acclaimed 2012 self-titled debut album, Flume. He recently posted to TikTok saying that he found the old machine, fixed it up, and found some special, forgotten gems on it. He plans to share those gems on a special TikTok live stream this Sunday.

This just so happens to be the exact 10-year anniversary of his debut record. Many artists choose the 10th birthday of a project to do special reissues, typically filled with previously unreleased goodies. And with how popping vinyl sales have been as of late, we wouldn’t surprised if Flume has something of the sort up his sleeve here (although this is purely speculation).

Flume’s TikTok live will air on November 8, 8:00pm AEDT. Unfortunately for us Americans, that is 5:00am ET, so you’ll have to either stay up very late or wake up very early to catch it. Nonetheless, we’ll be covering it, so stay tuned for what’s to come.

@flume3/3 See ya Sunday 🎊
