We are only days away now from Flume's sophomore LP, Skin, arriving this Friday (May 27). Anticipation behind the 12-track endeavor has only elevated ever since the talented Aussie began revealing tracks off the album like "Never Be Like You," "Say It" and "Smoke & Retribution."
His latest record to be unveiled is "Lose It," a highly emotive future bass tune featuring Chicago rapper Vic Mensa. Most recently, Mensa collaborated with Skrillex on "No Chill" and is now rumored to be working on Gorillaz's fifth studio album.
When speaking on "Lose It" in an interview with Triple J's Richard Kingsmill, Flume says "I love the energy…It's just power. I cannot wait to play that one out." He and Mensa initially linked up in Sydney approximately a year and a half ago and later met in the studio where Flume presented the rapper with a handful of tracks to hop on.
