FNP Leans Into UK Garage Influence on New Single “Oh My”

|||

Describing his new EP as “a full-blooded ode to UK garage,” London producer, FNP, leans into his deep-rooted influence on title track, “Oh My.”

A groovy, swung garage beat anchors the vibes of “Oh My.” The producer utilizes a bouncy synth lead to keep the energy up, trading places with wavering bass pulses at around the two minute mark, adding a refreshing spin to the track. FNP brings everything together for an epic, momentous drop at the 3:54 time stamp – a must-listen moment.

On the EP as a whole, FNP commented:

This EP is my first project that solely explores my love for UK Garage. It’s something i’ve always wanted to release and I wanted to have plenty of the trademarks of the genre in there, without it sounding dated. I love all the corners of UK garage, from the darker side of the genre to the more soulful and vocal driven tracks.
