Four Tet is keeping the ball rolling. After sharing the widely acclaimed “Looking For Your Pager” and a subsequent Essential Mix under his KH moniker, today he returns to release a new single titled “Scythe Master.” This new tune was, in fact, the closing track for the recent, aforementioned Essential Mix.
“Scythe Master” comes as part of a compilation for the new London-based Eat Your Own Ears compilation, which also includes previously unreleased music from Mount Kimbie, Sylvan Esso, and more. The track features the signature dreamy, exotic melodies that Four Tet has championed throughout his career, with a crispy groove. Clocking in at just over eight minutes, it’s a perfect little piece of music to get lost in.
