There’s not really anything that gets me as stoked as new music from Frank Ocean. The generational talent is a recluse both with public appearances and his music. We rarely know what he’s up to and whenever he re-appears its’ never short of a welcomed return. He decided to share his first Blonded Radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 and premiered multiple new songs including his first released since 2017 titled “DHL” with production by Boys Noize.
On top of this, he recently hosted the inaugural PrEP+ Club Night in NYC. The event had artists like Justice and Sango perform and is an event series that’s “an homage to what could have been of the 1980s’ NYC club scene if the drug PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) — which can be taken daily to prevent HIV/AIDs for those who are not infected but are at high risk — had been invented in that era.”
