French Producer Anoraak Drops Impossibly Groovy Disco Track “Two Steps”

|||

It may only be March but Anoraak is ushering summer in early with his latest release. “Two Steps” is said to be “sunset-inspired,” and the French producer’s take on a summer anthem.

From the first beat, Anoraak sets the stage with an infectious disco 4×4 rhythm. From there, his own soft vocals moonwalk onto the track, which he layers over the warm, groovy synth melody. Topping it all off are starry tambourine effects on the chorus, transforming the track into the perfect soundtrack for a late night at the roller rink, or a summer day pregame.

Here’s what Anoraak had to say about his vision for the track:

After a couple of years composing mainly organic disco infused tracks and doing many collabs, I felt like bringing back a bit of synthetic sound as well as my own vocals. I wanted Two Steps to be a dancy track with soft vocals, wrapped up in a pop format.

This is immediately going on our summer playlists. You can check it out using the link below. Enjoy!
