Geo Jordan has been in the background of the music scene for a while now. After writing songs for Doja Cat and producing for the likes of Lianne La Havas, now it’s time for the talented British multi-instrumentalist to step into the spotlight himself. His new track “Need To Know,” off his new EP Fathom, is the latest song to grab us by the ears and transfix us.
We can’t get enough of the laidback, flowy vibe of this track. Heavenly reverb on his silky vocals make them pop as he sings fluidly about love, transformations, and rebirth. As the song progresses, neo-soul percussion and melodic synth chords make their entrance alongside twangy bass and guitar licks. Jordan’s sound feels timeless but fresh, sonically offering us the comfort of a warm hug.
