Getter Shares Teaser Of Forthcoming Album ‘Visceral’ With Trippy New Video

We were all pretty surprised when Getter confirmed he would be moving on from EDM after his next album…but considering that the LA-based producer has continued to keep us on our toes over the past few years, switching up between dubstep, hip-hop/rap and even future bass, we’re sure that whatever avenue he decides to travel down next will be nothing short of incredible. Today it seems that his transition may be closer that we thought, as Getter has just shared a teaser for his forthcoming album Visceral.

Although the teaser weights in at just under 7 minutes, it’s already apparent that this next project will be Getter as we’ve never heard before. Filled with bright, pulsing synths, lush, atmospheric soundscapes, powerful non-traditional percussion and some mind-bending sound design, this forthcoming album seems to embody inspiration from genres of all sorts. Although featured on the teaser is Getter’s previously released single “Solo”, from what we can hear in the teaser, there are at least nine other unreleased tracks that will be included on Visceral (although Getter confirmed there will be at least 12 on the album). Whether or not we’ll hear a new collab with Ghostemane, a feature from Terror Reid or even Getter flexing his vocals as we saw with “Colorblind”, only time will tell. For now check out the Visceral album teaser below and enjoy!
