Goldlink Drops Smooth Trap Single “Pray Everyday” And Announces New Album

Washington DC rapper GoldLink announced his major label debut today, and shared the outro track “Pray Everyday (Survivor’s Guilt)” off the album to get fans excited about the new release. At What Cost releases on 3/24, and the 14-track album will include his catchy song with Shy Glizzy as well as his excellent second single with Kaytranada.

“Pray Everyday (Survivor’s Guilt)” brings the relaxed, melodic raps we’ve come to expect from the former XXL Freshman and features a choir providing beautiful background vocals. Sevn Thomas, best known for his credits on Rihanna’s “Work” and Drake’s “Pop Style,” lays down a smooth beat that creates the spiritual vibe GoldLink is known for. GoldLink lays down some extra smooth bars over the hard-hitting, trappy beat that's a little different choice of production from what we're used to hearing from him and adds a nice edge to his soulful sound. Look out for the album to drop next week, and keep an eye out for the features list to come – especially since he recently posted a picture of him and Andre 3000 in the studio. Enjoy!
