It’s been just over a year since Flume dropped his incredible sophomore album, Skin. Since the release, we’ve heard some amazing remixes of the album's biggest tracks from Disclosure, Baauer, Illenium & More. Today we have the pleasure of premiering our new favorite remix of album’s most experimental productions, “Wall Fuck” from Gramatik & Ramzoid.
Gramatik & Ramzoid offer a fresh melodic take on the song, stemming from Flume’s recognizable style of vocal chops. Atmospheric bells and bird chirps layer over a funky bassline (most likely Gramatik’s) throughout the intro, which flows seamlessly into a drop of soulful guitar riffs, energetic percussion and distorted elements from the original track.
It’s always something special when two exceptional artists collaborate on a remix, especially when their sound is as unique as Gramatik & Ramzoid’s. Enjoy!
