GRiZ Flips John Summit’s “Where You Are” Into a Melodic Dubstep Masterpiece

One of the hottest unreleased remixes of the year has been GRiZ’s flip of John Summit’s “Where You Are.” John Summit debuted the remix during his surprise guest appearance with Subtronics at EDC Las Vegas. Today, GRiZ is officially releasing the remix to the delight of the entire dance music community.

John Summit’s original mix features the pristine vocals of British singer/songwriter Hayla. The track immediately became anthemic being played out at festival mainstages far and wide. GRiZ’s remix doesn’t sacrifice any euphoria but rather turns it on its head into a slowed down melodic dubstep masterpiece filled with wonky wubs and complimentary uplifting melodies.
