GRiZ Spontaneously Uploads New Feel Good Track “Is There Any Love”

|||,

GRiZ, in an effort to channel some positive energy into the world, has uploaded a brand new track onto his SoundCloud account. The track is titled “Is There Any Love,” and if you’re missing GRiZ’s sound from the 2010s, this one will certainly scratch that itch.

This new tune features the perfect amounts of sax and bass, reminiscent of his Mad Liberation and Rebel Era days. One of the main components that add a throwback element to the track is the heavy use of samples here, using Trevor Dandy’s “Is There Any Love,” among others.

While GRiZ has two main avenues now for his sound—his main bassy releases and his sax-laden Chasing The Golden Hour series—”Is There Any Love” splits them down the center. The result is a concoction that is vintage GRiZ and we’ve got it on repeat.

GRiZ mentioned that he was in a different kind of creative flow when he crafted this new tune:

been seein so much negative shit lately. so i took the opportunity today to channel that energy into something creative! So I made a song, in 1 day, just said yes to everything in the moment that felt good. I hope we put more love and good energy out to the world so that our community can feel beautiful not torn apart. <3 u always
