For those who know Habstrakt, you know he's impressively diverse when it comes to his productions and can churn out everything from trap to glitch hop to future house. For reference, listen to "Datbooty", "Listen" and "She Goes". The talented French House artist now delivers "Heyo" from his four-track French Press EP on Never Say Die Records. It's a heavy dubstep single at it's core and comes packed with a raw bass-fueled punch. Habstrakt said the following about the EP as a whole.
"It’s been a little less than a year since ‘My People’ EP came out, and I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time working on this new EP, playing so many different versions in my sets and coming back home to adjust tiny details here and there. It’s the conclusion of a crazy year of touring around the world and there couldn’t be a better place for it than Never Say Die Records!
This EP goes through different vibes from dubstep to house flavours, pushing the boundaries between genres harder than before, while being continuously playable forming a perfect loop. I am very proud to have two of the best upcoming producers from France (Basstrick and Badjokes) featured on this release, they’re the dankest cheeses in the block!"
"Heyo" is one of two dubstep records off the project and is balanced out with two upbeat bass house tracks. Stream the premiere of "Heyo" below and be sure to pre-order his French Press EP! Enjoy!
