Rising UK Acts, I. JORDAN & SHERELLE, Team Up & Release Double-Single “M1, M3/GETOUTOFMYHEAD”

Rising UK act, I. JORDAN, refuses to be defined by a single genre. 2022 was a colossal year for them dropping the brutal rave weapon “Reclaimed,” linking with Fred again.. on “Admit It (u don’t want 2),” and cracking our Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2023 list. SHERELLE is another new face to the scene but absolutely someone who you should be paying attention to. The London-born DJ is leading a new generation of high-speed ravers and has been on a tear since her 2019 Boiler Room set. This weekend, both I. JORDAN & SHERELLE have teamed up for a joint-release double-single titled “M1, M3/GETOUTOFMYHEAD,” out now via fabric records.

First up on the docket is I. JORDAN’s “M1, M3.” Clearly inspired by the underground rave scene, I. JORDAN flirts with hazy melodies and a fast-paced rhythm to create a nostalgic, yet fresh sound. SHERELLE’s “GETOUTOFMYHEAD” picks up the tempo even more, this time drawing on more influences from footwork and juke. The drum pattern proves to be the most prominent feature while an array of synth melodies and vocal chops are layered to drive the production into a fast-paced, high-energy affair.

Both artists are leading the way for a new generation of talent budding out of the UK and aren’t showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. The pair are also in the midst of a joint European tour which hopefully means that there’s more collaborations to come. Steam both tracks below and enjoy!
