J. Cole Announces Surprise Intimate No Phones, No Cameras Show + Clears Instagram

It’s been since 2016 that J. Cole dropped new music, and with the normal album cycle being roughly two years, it seems like time for him to start rolling out a new project. Whenever an artist clears their socials, it typically means they are rebranding and are up to something. In the past couple years Cole has been quiet while his label signees J.I.D. and EarthGang have been on fire, becoming some of our favorites in the game right now.

Cole just cleared his Instagram going with an all-purple look before tweeting info about a NYC show tonight with no phones, no cameras, no bags, no press list, no guest list at the Gramercy Theatre with doors at 6pm. Many artists including A$AP Rocky and Future have cleared their socials before dropping new music so we’re hoping this is what he’s up to. Stay tuned for more and enjoy!
