In an interesting turn of events Kanye West went from announcing the revival of GOOD Fridays, only to miss last Fridays release just 2 weeks into the apparent rejuvenation. Wife Kim Kardashian West tweeted on Saturday explaining, "I soooo didn't mean to lie to you guys about GOOD FRIDAYS coming back. Kanye flew to Italy for a Yeezy Season 3 fitting." Making things even more intriguing, Yeezy decided to release "No More Parties In LA" ft. Kendrick Lamar in typical Kanye fashion, at 5am on a Monday.
He first previewed the Madlib produced track with the release of "Real Friends." Now the full, 6 minute track has Kanye going hard on several extended verses spanning far more than 32 bars. Both he and Kendrick go absolutely in on this one, as we haven't heard such well crafted bars like this from Kanye in quite some time. Its safe to say "No More Parties In LA" makes up for last Fridays absence. Luckily, it looks like GOOD Fridays are still a go. So long as Kanye isn't in some foreign country designing high-end fashion lines, we should have another new release this Friday. We'll be sure to stay on the look out!
