There’s no slowing Kasbo. The young Swedish artist has blown us away time and time again. This time is no different. For his latest endeavor, Kasbo has linked up with NEA for an incredible new single “Bleed It Out” via ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective / Counter Records.
"This song like one of my other released tunes World Away is mainly inspired by my backpacking trip through China and Vietnam. Travelling around this place that has a complete different culture and way of life gave me a very uneasy feeling but was also very intruiging, and going there with your friends it was just a whole mess of emotions. Familiarity, clashing with fear in a complete foreign environment. There are so many new impressions during such a short time, things going on everywhere, a lot of the places we visited were extremely chaotic while at the same time very alluring. It was something that at first stemmed some kind of anxiety within me but something I grew to love, was kind of a beautiful chaos." – Kasbo
There’s something about Kasbo’s music that evokes emotions in each of his songs. He has a way of crafting cinematic productions that make you want to dance and cry at the same time. There’s a sort of nostalgia felt with his worldly synths, but his sound design is undoubtedly unique and something we haven’t heard before. “Bleed It Out” builds on the success of Kasbo’s recent singles “Lay It On Me” and “Found You.”
This new single showcases his next level production abilities as he combines lush textures with relaxing, gentle melodies leading up the the incredible drop placing swirling synths alongside punching drums and a sort of wailing, distorted synth that’s intruiging from the first note. Kasbo is also heading out on tour with dates supporting ODESZA, Slow Magic and San Holo – see dates below. Enjoy!
