There is potential for loads of new Kendrick Lamar music in the near future. It’s been discovered that the rapper has registered 32 new song titles with copyright organization ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers).
The track titles that have been registered are ones we’ve never heard of before, such as “Before The Hangman’s Noose,” “Bounce,” “Driving Down The Darkness,” to name a few. It’s not known when exactly these were registered either, but they also have publishers listed like Top Dawg Music and WC Music Group. Hard Working Black Folks Inc is also listed on many of these tracks. Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre will often publish tracks under this name.
These registrations don’t necessarily confirm that they will all be on an album, but they do protect Kendrick’s rights, so it is certainly possible they will appear somewhere.
Just a few weeks ago, Kendrick Lamar announced his final album with Top Dawg coming soon.
