The explosive bass oriented duo known as Knife Party have kept themselves busy in the studio over the last few months working on a new album and they recently revealed some exciting details on the upcoming release via Twitter. The full lenght debut artist album will be titled Abandon Ship and will feature 12 tracks with 9 of them already complete and scheduled for the album, 5 in the "maybe, maybe not" pile and another 5 in the early stages of creation. If any of these tracks are close the the madness contained on Knife Party's most recent Haunted House EP, we can surely expect a major contender in the highly anticipated electronic music albums whenever they decide to unleash the fury. We hope to at least here some of new album this coming weekend when we attend the 3rd annual Spring Awakening Music Festival in Chicago, IL and if so, expect details to be shared on the site! Until then… Enjoy
Album update: 9 of 12 tracks confirmed, 5 in the "maybe" pile, 5 in the "ideas" stage. 2 weeks til mastering.
