Mura Masa has yet to share an original song in 2019… until now. The TSIS favorite has been working on his new project and just debuted his new single “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again” featuring the vocals of none other than Clairo. He premiered this track with Annie Mac’s Future Sounds show on BBC Radio 1.
Mura Masa joined Annie Mac for a short interview in which he reveled his next album is done and we can expect it early next year. In the meantime he said we can expect “lots to hear” in the next few months. This track showcases a more gritty, abrasive sound from Mura’s production than we’ve heard in the past. Mura let us know he’s going in a less poppy direction on this project channeling more of his punk influences, which he said has been “liberating” for him. It sounds like there’s going to be some odd stuff on the album and I’m excited to hear it.
