After a long break in between albums, Lorde has shared her sophomore LP Melodrama. The 11-track album is first since her debut in 2013.
Happy to see Ella's new record made it out into the world today. I leant a hand on production for the track The Louvre… check it out! pic.twitter.com/r0YfezKziZ

The best surprise about the project has a Flume production credit on the track “The Louvre”. The collaborative effort wasn’t known until the project dropped and Flume congratulated Lorde and revealed his involvement on the track. Flume remixed Lorde’s “Tennis Court” years back so the two working together doesn’t come as a shocker, but is a pleasant surprise. The song uses a minimal instrumental as we can hear Flume’s influence with a more experimental portions of glitchy sound design. Lorde picks up where she left off years ago with a matured sound and direction on her latest. Stream below and enjoy!
