Stream & Download Lunice’s 11-Track Debut Album ‘CCCLX’

||

Between his numerous high-quality EP's over the years and his legendary work as TNGHT with Hudson Mohawke, Lunice has made quite the name for himself. 10 years after coming into the scene, the Montreal beatmaker is finally releasing his debut album, CCCLX (pronounced 360).

The new 11-track album features vocals from some lesser-known artists like CJ Flemings and Denzel Curry, but Lunice's beats remain the focus. His heavily hip-hop influenced trap music is as clean as ever, the intricate beats begging to be heard through headphones. His unique style of syncopated beats with high synth notes in rapid succession remain immediately recognizable, but it's clear how much he has progressed as a producer. The concise 40-minute album never outstays its welcome and plays excellently from start to finish as a whole product.

Back in June, Lunice announced that he is working on HudMo on new TNGHT material, and we'll have this solo album on repeat until we hear what else the two have in store for us. Enjoy!
