It truly is extraordinary how such a wide range of artists connected with Mac Miller‘s music. Today I was fortunate to come across a video of none other than Boulder’s very own Trevor Hall performing a very heartfelt cover of one of Mac’s most emotional songs, “2009.”
Trevor Hall has been performing this song at his live gigs over the past couple of years. Earlier this year, however, he live streamed himself playing the track out, equipped with just his voice and his guitar. While previous live renditions of “2009” from Trevor featured the first part of the song, he dove into the second verse here for the first time, completing the full cover.
Trevor Hall has such a unique sounding voice—as did Mac. He definitely did this one justice and think every Mac fan would enjoy this version.
