We have the pleasure of premiering 22-year-old producer Mazde's latest original release, "Wicked Winds". He first popped up on our radar with "Kuwait" last year and has been building momentum ever since.
"Wicked Winds" brings a vibe-filled sound that combines a relaxing piano melody with chopped vocals and a gentle drop. "I wanted to create something very melodic and energetic at the same time,” he says. "I really liked an idea from a friend of imagining someone playing a giant whistle in the hook. Combining this with the downtempo / hip hop influence from the likes JamieXX, Moderat and Shigeto, I created Wicked Winds." Enjoy!
