Movement Festival, one of America’s elite sites for house and techno, has revealed its initial lineup for 2023. Among the acts the festival has divulged this morning include techno heavyweights Charlotte De Witte and Chris Liebing, house maestros Dom Dolla and John Summit (playing back-to-back), and more.
Taking place in the birthplace of techno, Movement always makes space for its Detroit-raised talent. This year, Carl Craig, Moodymann, and Robert Hood have the honor of repping their hometown. Chicago is in the house, too, with delegates Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, and Green Velvet. Movement also included a couple of UK dance music pioneers, Underworld and Surgeon.
Movement Festival’s 2023 lineup is looking to serve up some serious dancefloor knowledge with the number of industry legends they’ve booked so far. The event will take place May 27–29 at Detroit Hart Plaza.
